"I think as long as they understand climatic conditions then they might be ok. But I was concerned about the amount of drought questions! Where were the nice tectonic hazards one (testing through the case study alone I guess!)"

Liz Smith replied to Ro McGrath's discussion 2016 Themes paper
"My initial thoughts were that I thought the paper was more difficult than previous years. Waste of time photocopying all those maps for assessments! As we all do, we teach the content and we have revised some aspects more than others. But I thought…"

Grade Boundaries for mock exam for Key Geographical Themes exam

I have adapted the assessment materials from the OCR website and our Year 11 have just sat a new mock exam on Rivers and Coasts, Pop and Settlement and Economic Dev. This is to prepare them for the new format. It seems that the paper is out of 99! However, I have no idea what grade boundaries to use? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.See More

these will be for next years year 10.... as im entering my students in year 11 i have to wait for the next batch. I think this is right as the titles are only valid for 12 months. Thats why ive highlighted a different sdme on my 2 year plan

Nice work Liz. Will add to list of new NINGS that I shall add to GA networks.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do, and remember to keep an eye out for those 'new to APG' folks...
